Isabelle Weissflog and Georgia Capewell represented the SOCO lab at the inaugural postgraduate student and research assistant showcase in the University of York Psychology Department. Arranged and organised by Dr. Alex Pike, Arianna Moccia, and Chloe Brunskill, the showcase was a great opportunity to present the early stages of the 'Many Faces of Prejudice' ERC-funded project and hear from fellow researchers, discussing topics as broad as spatio-temporal memory; sleep; and numeracy.

Isabelle presented a ten minute summary of the existing research into belief- and status-indicative social groups, lead by Dr. Lusine Grigoryan, which forms the background of the current project. Georgia and Isabelle also made a (very bright) research poster for the showcase, which caught the eyes of other researchers in the department and served as a starting point for more in-depth conversations about past and current research. The project is approaching data collection, and the lab looks forward to seeing where its findings lead!
